D’oscail an scoil sa bhliain 1900 agus tá sí ag fás agus ag forbairt ó shin. Faoi láthair tá ceathrar múinteoir ranga againn agus 83 dalta. Is páistí den dara agus tríú glúin den chlann iad go leor de dhaltaí ata ag freastal ar an scoil.
The school first opened in 1900 and has been growing ever since. Currently, we have four mainstream teachers and 83 pupils. Many of our children are the second and third generation of their families attending the school.

Is scoil Ghaeltachta muid a chiallaíonn go bhfoghlaíonn na páistí trí mheán na Gaeilge. Ba mhaith linn go mbainfeadh na páistí taitneamh as a gcuid taithí ar an nGaeilge agus chuile sheans a thabhairt dóibh a gcuid tallainn agus buanna a fhorbairt.
We are a Gaeltacht school which means that our children learn through the medium of Irish. We strive to create a safe, happy and inspiring learning environment for our pupils. We would like our children to enjoy their learning experiences through Irish and give them every opportunity to develop all their talents and abilities.
